Sasti Gotama, a doctor and literature lover, explores the darkest sides of the human soul in her works. Her stories appear in Indonesian print and online media, including Kumpulan Cerita Penafsir Mimpi (2019). Her book Mengapa Tuhan Menciptakan Kucing Hitam (2020) was among Tempo’s top 5 literary books, nominated for the Language Agency’s Literary Award (2021), and won first place in the 2022 “Rasa” Literary Prize.
