Andre Septiawan was born 23 years ago in the coastal town of Pariaman, north of Padang, West Sumatra’s capital and the epicenter of the 2009 earthquake. With a background in English Literature from Andalas University, he became one of the five finalists of URWF and authored Suara Murai, published by Kepustakaan Populer Gramedia (KPG).
