Zero
My journey is not your journey. My journey is your journey far away. Why is everyone obsessed with 'far'? Marco Polo ventured from Venice to Mongol lands, sailors crossed oceans, climbers risked peaks. Captivated by 'far,' the traveler embarked on a grand journey: sneaking into forbidden Himalayas, living in Kashmir, witnessing war. What began as a dream became a search for meaning. After wandering, the traveler returned home, prostrating by his mother’s bed—and from her, who never left home, learned the true essence of travel. 'Agustinus has drawn distant horizons in Indonesian travel writing. Profound and extraordinary, Point Zero offers a new way of telling travel stories.' —Qaris Tajudin, Tempo editor and novelist.
