LAILA DIDN’T COME HOME
After breaking through my neighbour’s door, I was shocked to see the bathtub overflowing with pitch black. As far as I remember, there were no problems with the plumbing in the building. When I dipped my finger, I realized that what filled it wasn’t water, but ink. My fingers ran over the membrane, smooth as hair. Apart from the body curled up in a tub with its neck bone cracked until it was bent over, the clues I found actually forced me to keep my mouth shut. Because this discovery will drag my sister, the only family I have left and that I love half to death, Laila. Unfortunately, that is only a small part of the mystery that she has been hiding for a long time.
