US AND THEM: A JOURNEY TO DISCOVER THE ROOTS OF IDENTITY AND HUMAN CONFLICTS
Why have we become different nations?
Why do wars keep blazing the world?
Why do religions of peace cause violence?
These questions feel urgent today as our world grows less understandable. Globalization makes society more homogenous, yet clashes between identities worsen. The failures of the Arab Spring, religious terrorism, refugee crises, nationalism’s rise, and identity politics force us to rethink our identities.
Based on fieldwork and research, Us and Them explores the roots of divisions—countries, nations, languages, races, religions, genders, and ideologies. This book offers fresh perspectives on global issues and invites an inner journey to understand your true self.
